Rory Kirk has lived in Mauritius for over 20 years and travels regularly to South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and France. He tries to capture the beauty of the sea, countryside, architecture and people of these places and express the feelings of joy and awe that are evoked by their presence.

He uses a Nikon D7100 and his favourite lenses are the Nikkor AF-S 18-300mm and 50mm 1:1.8D. Images are edited in Lightroom and Photoshop with regular assistance from Topaz plug-ins.
